Kiwi hit-maker James Reid (The Feelers) becomes the first musician to perform in the inaugural Juice Bar Legends series next Friday November 15th.
“Reid was an obvious choice to play the opening concert of the Juice Bar Legends series” says the Parnell venue’s manager, Helen Wrightson.
“He’s a phenomenal songwriter who delivers hit after hit – Venus, Stand Up, Pressure Man, Communicate, As Good As it Gets – and that’s just for starters. James has had a huge impact with The Feelers and we can’t wait to hear his offerings from the upcoming solo album.”
Extremely limited tickets (Seated and General Admission) are now available from Ticketmaster.co.nz, Real Groovy and Juice Bar.
James Reid fans can expect to hear Feelers favourites along with songs from his soon-to-be-released first solo album. From 1998’s Supersystem album to 2011’s Hope Nature Forgives, and great songs like Pressure Man, Venus, Communicate, As Good As It Gets, Stand Up and One World – Reid has generated a loyal legion of fans up and down New Zealand.
As an added bonus for fans across the country, the concerts will be recorded and broadcast on Juice TV and J2. The special concerts are a chance for Juice TV, NZ’s Original Music TV network, to pay tribute with fans to some of our best and most enduring talent.
The following week on Friday November 22, Greg Johnson and band perform the second Juice Bar Legends concert.
Juice Bar in the heart of Parnell is Auckland’s premier mid-sized music venue, hosting sold out concerts from the likes of Lloyd Cole, Imogen Heap, Everclear, Kimbra, Guy Sebastian and Thirsty Merc, as well as New Zealand’s finest talent.
