PAY WHAT YOU WANT TO WITNESS THE THEATRE OF HOPE

House of Hudson & TAPAC presents
A THOUSAND HILLS
By Mike Hudson. Based on the true-life experiences of Francois Byamana and Bob Askew.
Directed by Margaret-Mary Hollins.

Coming off a sensational season at TAPAC, with its closing weekend eliciting a full house and a standing ovation, the A Thousand Hills team prepare themselves to end the year with a series of  koha entry event  shows at Mangere Arts Centre from the 21st of November.

“We feel that this uplifting production, which shows how resolute determination in the face of sheer adversity, should be something that is affordable and accessible for all audiences” says director Margaret-Mary Hollins.

With audiences in the CBD championing the work, including overwhelmingly positive feedback (“A Thousand Hills is the most moving play I’ve ever seen” in one instance) and a limited season in South Auckland, audiences from across the Super-City have one more chance to be enchanted with a theatrical work unlike any other.

There are great plays about important issues that take you by the shoulders and shake you until you pay attention. And then there are plays like A Thousand Hills, which sink into you and grab you from within after seeing them
