Earth Matters with Allysen Caris
Poems and stories resonate in the deepest levels of the soul. Surely no one can fail to be affected by the devastation we have caused on earth - join Allysen Caris for an evening of story and poetry in which a more positive and life affirming relationship with all living things is shown, featuring two stories by Anthony Holcroft.
Allysen Caris has been a university lecturer and Steiner teacher for over 25 years. She currently works at Taruna, an adult education centre, in Havelock North. Allysen is passionate about the earth we live on and storytelling.
Host:
Judy Frost-Evans was introduced to the power of story when listening to Allysen tell stories at her son's school in Lower Hutt in the 1990's. Since then she has journeyed to find storytelling teachers, become a storyteller herself and organises storytelling workshops on the Kapiti Coast.
