A FRIVOLOUS PLACE WHERE VAUDIVILLE MEETS THEATRE

Lilly Loca’s Vaudeville Cabaret presents
VOIX DE VILLE

Be prepared to enter the highly frivolous and entertaining world of Lilly Loca’s Vaudeville Cabaret, as a cast of expert vaudevillians from New Zealand and abroad come together to surprise, delight and evoke all manner of emotions for your viewing pleasure in Voix de Ville playing at TAPAC 6 -16 November.

Voix de Ville (noun): A type of entertainment popular chiefly in the US in the early 20th century, featuring a mixture of specialty acts such as burlesque, comedy, dance, acting, circus and live music.

The New Zealand Vaudevillians in Voix de Ville are:
-  Mark Scott – Master of Filthy, Irreverent Stand Up Comedy!
-  Lilly Loca –  MC who is putting the Va-Va-Voom into Vaudeville!
-  The Spietatet Jazz Trio – Swinging, Spontaneous Jazz Trio!
-  Patty Haag – The Hideously Fabulous Stage Kitten!

Also for the first time in Lilly Loca’s Vaudeville Cabaret history, we have not one, but TWO international performers joining our cast of vaudevillians. These are:
-  Sophia St Villier – The Tantalizing Titian-Haired Teaser (UK)
-  Fever Pitch – The Vociferous and Veracious Vandal of the Vaudevillian Variety (AUS)

Lily Loca is the alter ego of the talented Nat Hugill - a trained actress, MC, dancer, vaudeville entertainer, pin up girl and producer. Appearing in over 30 productions Nat has taken the reigns of her own career by establishing her own company which stages and presents world class cabaret shows. She’s been successful in these ventures with sell-out seasons of seven shows including Lilly Loca's Vaudeville Cabaret and the Dark Horse Cabaret and has bought the dying art of cabaret back to life in Auckland. Her commitment to this art form is so passionate that she has even set up her own performing arts school: Defying Gravity Performing Arts Academy.
