Justine Smith and Cohen Holloway – Sunday Stand Up Comedy at Hotel Bristol
Finish your weekend with a great night of laughs!
Billy T winner and AotearoHA regular, Justine Smith, host’s Hotel Bristol’s Monthly comedy special on Sunday, 18 August. Boy and Eagle vs. Shark star, Cohen Holloway headlines the show, which also features several up and coming Wellington comedians.
Having recently moved to Wellington from Auckland, Justine is one of New Zealand’s premier and versatile stand-up comedians having performed on the national scene for over 10 years. One of the constant highlights of the New Zealand International Comedy Festival, Justine has received high praise for her shows and was voted Best Female Comedian by the New Zealand Comedy Guild in 2008.
Cohen is recognisable from his on screen roles but he is also an accomplished comedian, having been nominated for a Billy T Award in 2004. A former star of Facelift, Cohen has been making audiences laugh for over a decade with his impressions of various celebrities and unique physical performances.
Also on the bill are two local up and comers, Adam Wright who is a two time Wellington Raw Comedy Quest Finalist and Ben ‘Tito’ Caldwell, one of the stars of the hit Comedy Festival series, Get (Even) Better Work Stories.
The show starts at 7.00pm and is also being used as a fundraiser for the Rampage Football team. Tickets can be purchased from eventfinder.co.nz for $20 full and $15 concession. Door sales on the night are $25.
