Richard Calkin, owner of Web Genius is looking forward to seeing the event grow to a new level this year. “Last year the actual event was a great success and we raised over $12,000 for Youth Quest. This year we aim to beat that amount, and also provide local groups with the opportunity to raise money for their own purposes as well,” said Mr Calkin.
Jeremy Neeve, Manager of Youth Quest is wrapped that Web Genius has chosen to support their organisation again this year. Like many charitable trusts they rely on income raised from within our community. What makes this different is that a local business has for the past three years shown an amazing commitment to assist Youth Quest financially in the work they do. Jeremy says, “It’s not just about Web Genius giving us a cheque; all the staff get involved personally.”
Web Genius is also pleased to welcome aboard to the planning team, Peter Jackson - Peter Jackson Plumbing, Richard van Eck - Low Tax Accounting Services and Helene Judge - Kapiti Business Projects. Richard. His whole team believes this is a wonderful community event as it is a chance to get out with your team, your classroom, your work mates, your friends and clients for some fun and the unique opportunity to raise money for your own cause as well as Youth Quest.
