OLIVER TANK: Australian musician Oliver Tank burst seemingly out of nowhere with his own brand of incredibly textural glitch pop.  But don't be fooled, he's no stranger to the game, having played music in various forms since he was young. He now combines real instruments with computers to create heartfelt soundscapes so vivid they could only be dreamed of.
The last two years have been huge for Oliver Tank, filled with many firsts, including his debut EP 'Dreams' released in November 2011 to incredible reviews all over the globe.   Oliver’s whirlwind rise in profile was kicked off by winning FBi's Northern Lights competition which saw him flown over to Iceland to perform at Iceland's Airwaves Festival, he was also included in Triple J's “2012 Next Crop” on top of being nominated for an FBi SMAC Award in the “Next Big Thing” category in the same year.   2012 was kicked off with a bang, with supports with Active Child, Youth Lagoon, Bonobo, Megan Washington at the Sydney Opera House, & Julia Stone, plus his multiple sell out headline shows, which were followed by performances at The Great Escape and Liverpool Sound City as well as headline shows in the UK, before coming back home to Australia to support Lana Del Rey nationally. Oliver Tank is back with his second EP ‘Slow Motion Music’ which features collaborations with artist friends such as Ta-Ku, Hayden Calnin, as well as long-time friend and music collaborator Fawn Myers – set to be released in the second half of 2013.  Oliver’s ‘Slow Motion Music’ EP continues to show off his delicate song writing and beautiful soundscapes. There is no denying big things are coming for him! Mary Anne Hobbs XFM “Absolutely beautiful” Richard Kingsmill Triple J “5/5 In a word – Perfect” Dan Zilber FBi Radio “Sublime, atmospheric and heart wrenching, Oliver Tank is the best”
JAMES BLAKE: Emotionally resonate, beautifully realised.  Two years backJAMES BLAKE released one of the best albums of 2011 in his eponymous debut.  With 2013’sOvergrown, the classically trained pianist/post-dubstep auteur surpasses all expectation.  From touches of R and gospel (see single “Retrograde”) to collaborations with RZA and Brian Eno –Overgrown is a perfect listen.  “JAMESBLAKE is a modern master of emotional speculation,” argued Pitchfork – and we agree.
Now just prior to the release of his highly-anticipated sophomore album, UK's James Blake will travel to New Zealand for one special show this August.  Fans in Auckland will witness the enchantment of James Blake as he takes to the stage of the Auckland Town Hall after playing Australia's Splendour In The Grass festival in July, performing his brand new follow-up album Overgrown live.
His collaborations on this new material casts light on a further evolved Blake, one with fewer boundaries, a richness of depth and newfound intensity.  Blake's 2011 self-titled debut tipped the UK bass culture on its head; down previously unimagined roads of introspection.  Including singles, 'The Wilhelm Scream' and Fiest cover 'Limit To Your Love', the work earned Blake a Mercury Prize nomination, along with two BRIT award nominations and a #2 on the BBC Sound of 2011 countdown.  It saw him travel the globe over, each show met with pin-drop silence for an audience willing to be transported to another world.
The 24 year old Londoner's signature soaring electronics and stunning reinterpretations of dubstep, hip-hop and house are qualities that culminate in latest single 'Retrograde'.  Partnered by a dark and deeply pensive video, the track is an electronic soul testament that earmarks Blake as a worthy successor to thrones long since vacated by Massive Attack and Aphex Twin.
