Antigone - Gods offended prior to earthquake

Last Sunday at a matinee performance of Antigone at Greytown Little theatre the leading male character in the Greek play offended the Greek Gods. He left the stage in misery amid stage thunder and lightning. One hour later the Gods under the earth shook Wellington with an earthquake. Here is a photo from the stage performance of Antigone as King Creon realizes he has offended the gods and he is being punished.
