Top New Zealand chefs in Cloudy Bay culinary experience

Top New Zealand chefs take part in global Cloudy Bay culinary experience.
Throughout July, 19 of New Zealand’s top restaurants nationwide will take part in the international Cloudy Bay Pinot & Duck Tasting Trail, a month-long event in appreciation of the perfect food and wine pairing. Each restaurant will serve their signature duck dish paired with a glass of Cloudy Bay Pinot Noir for diners to enjoy.
“Duck and Cloudy Bay Pinot Noir will always be a favourite pairing of mine,” says Cloudy Bay winemaker Sarah Burton. “Both offer elegance and intrigue in a single taste. The bright fruit and savoury spice of our pinot noir complements the rich and lingering flavours of duck. Add smoke... and it gets even better."
Joining New Zealand, top chefs from spots around the globe including Aspen, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Malaysia, Philippines, Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne will form part of a global culinary experience with Cloudy Bay this year.
“We are excited that the Cloudy Bay Pinot & Duck Tasting Trail has become a truly international event,” says Rai Banbury, Cloudy Bay senior brand manager. “Cloudy Bay’s pioneering spirit and Sauvignon Blanc put New Zealand wine on the world map and we are pleased that our other varietals are also receiving worldwide acclaim.”
The Cloudy Bay Pinot & Duck Tasting Trail begins on 1st July and runs until 31st July. Bookings are necessary with each individual restaurant.
