Who are the Sikhs?
The religion of the Sikh people came to birth about 600 years ago in the Punjab region of India –  the gateway to the Indian subcontinent for people from Greece, Central Asia and Iran.
Simplistically put, Sikhism blends the Dharma-based religion of Hinduism with Abrahamic concepts from Islam.
The guest this week In Conversation with Noel Cheer on Face Television is a member of the Sikh community in New Zealand, Mr Rajinder Bedi J.P.
