Fieldays Fencing Competition Winners Announced
Fencing is a proud tradition at Fieldays, with the competition being around for 45 years – since the advent of Fieldays - it’s now become the premier fencing competition in the country and includes many entrants from across the New Zealand.
The competition focuses on two main events. Seniors fought for the ‘Champion Fencer’ title and up and coming youth fencers battled it out for the ‘Silver Staples’ title.
Results:
2013 Fieldays Silver Staples Fencing Competition (Youth)
· First place: Daley Watson-Krawitz & Stanley Robinson from Smedley Station
· Second Place: Thomas Ottaway & Wilton Weeks from Land Based Training / Fahs- Ag Ito
· Third Place: Matt Cooper & Tom Nicol from Smedley Station
2013 Fieldays Fencing Competition (Seniors)
· First Place: Tony Bouskill
· Second Place: Jared Nicolson
· Third Place: Che O’Dey
New Zealand National Agricultural Fieldays is on now until 15 June 2013 at Mystery Creek Events Centre, 10 minutes south of Hamilton.
