New Zealand Film Commission Statement of Intent: 2013 - 2016
The New Zealand Film Commission is pleased to release its Statement of Intent 2013 - 2016.
The strategic document outlines the agency's vision for the next three years with a focus on continued support for both the cultural and economic aspects of the screen sector.
The NZFC is continuing to work to ensure New Zealand screen talent is recognised internationally, material with high production value gets funded and that New Zealand stories are seen and valued here and overseas.
"Supporting talented and creative people is at the core of what we do," says Chief Executive Graeme Mason. "New Zealand culture gives our screen industry its vibrancy, and a vibrant screen industry helps to ensure New Zealand and its culture can be seen and valued all over the world."
The NZFC will continue to work collaboratively with the Ministry for Culture and Heritage, the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment and a wide number of Government and independent industry organisations to further grow the screen sector.
