Third Judge Announced for New Zealand's Got Talent 2013
Rachel Hunter has been named as the third judge for New Zealand’s Got Talent 2013, coming soon to TV ONE.
The international supermodel will join Op Shop frontman Jason Kerrison and choreographer and creative director Cris Judd in the three-person judging panel when filming for the number one New Zealand entertainment show starts in July.
“I’m so pleased that a second series of New Zealand’s Got Talent has been confirmed,” says Rachel Hunter.
“I could just not believe the incredible talent from all walks of life that we got to see on last year’s show,” she says.
“From classically trained opera singers to hip hop kids with attitude, the talent in this country is amazing!
“To be in a position to help identify the very best performers, and then watch them grow throughout the show is such a privilege.
“And it makes me so proud to be a Kiwi!”
Head of TV ONE and TV 2, Jeff Latch, says Television New Zealand is thrilled to welcome back one of New Zealand’s favourite daughters.
“In 2012 Rachel brought undeniable star power to the judging panel and helped make the programme the biggest TV show of the last ten years,” says Latch.
“Contestants and viewers alike fell in love with her honest, caring and down-to-earth attitude.
"You couldn’t wish for a better ambassador for the New Zealand’s Got Talent dream!”
