NZ's Biggest Music Festival Moves with New Radio Partner

New Zealand’s Biggest Music Festival Moves with New Radio Partner

MediaWorks Radio is pleased to announce a two year strategic partnership with Rhythm Group.

Most people will be familiar with Rhythm Group’s flagship festival Rhythm and Vines, which has been held in Gisborne since 2003, and has grown in to New Zealand's biggest music festival.

“MediaWorks Radio presented a partnership opportunity that aligns well with both our festivals. We are delighted to be working with these leading radio brands,” says Rhythm Group's CEO Kieran Spillane.

The relationship has grown out of the good work – and excellent results – around MediaWorks Radio sponsorship and event activations around the country, and in particular, last years association between Rhythm and Alps and The Edge, New Zealand’s number one music station.*

In 2013 George FM and The Edge will be event partners of Rhythm and Vines and Rhythm and Alps.

We know Rhythm Group festivals are high on our audiences’ ‘to-do’ lists so we’re looking forward to being there with them” says MediaWorks Radio Group Marketing Director Katie Mills. “We’ve got an event track-record that is precious to us, so we’ll be focused on delivering a memorable event experience to Rhythm Group and their strategic event partners, as well as festival–goers.”
