Discover England in winter

See some of England’s most iconic attractions without the crowds and enjoy earlybird savings on a small group winter tour from Back-Roads Touring.

The Heart of England journeys through Windsor, Stonehenge, Bath and Oxford and includes visits to traditional Christmas markets on select departures now from NZ$1915* per person, twin share when booked and paid in full by 15 July.

The tour operates between November 2013 and February 2014 and departs London visiting Windsor Castle and St George’s Chapel, Stonehenge, the 15th Century Bath Abbey, picture-perfect Lacock and quaint villages in the beautiful Cotswolds including Broadway and Chipping Campden.

Other highlights include Shakespeare’s birthplace Stratford-upon-Avon, Oxford’s grand colleges including Christ Church, where many of the scenes in the Harry Potter films were shot, and Christmas markets in Oxford and Bath selling treats such as mulled wine, warm cider and liqueurs.

The tour features a maximum of 15 passengers and includes four nights’ accommodation with full English breakfast daily, driver/guide, mini-coach transport, two dinners and a traditional tea with scones.
