Auckland Theatre Artistic Director Makes it to the Blogosphere
Auckland Theatre Company's Artistic Director, Colin McColl, has begun a weekly blog. Taking the name from Sarah Kane's play 4:48 Psychosis, McColl will talk about the things that wake him in a sweat at 4:48am each morning.
The role of Artistic Director is a mysterious one to many people. It's a job that doesn't finish at the end of the day. In fact, it often occupies all the Artistic Director's dreaming time too. The Artistic Director is responsible not only for the overall artistic direction and quality of the company's work, but they also need to be totally across all facets of the business that operates in the background to sustain the artistic practice.
The first blog is online now at:http://www.atc.co.nz/blog/2013/5/8/448am,-wednesday-8-may-may,-2013.
