International Recognition For The
Blue Rose
South Pacific Pictures’
drama series The Blue Rose has been
nominated in the prestigious Festival de Television de
Monte-Carlo.
The critically acclaimed mystery
series, which stars Antonia Prebble and Siobhan Marshall in
the dual lead roles, is the sole New Zealand contender among
the 12 productions in the Drama TV Series category.
The Blue Rose shares the category
with the crème of international television series,
including Homeland, Breaking Bad, Downton
Abbey, Doctor Who and Danish cult hits Borgen
III and Forbrydelsen (The Killing)

The Festival de Television de Monte-Carlo
Competition is held from June 9-13, 2013. The Festival
gathers and rewards – with a Golden Nymph or a selection
of Special Prizes – the best television programmes and
actors from all around the world. Throughout the Festival,
international juries composed of distinguished industry
professionals and talent participate in screenings of all
programming in Competition.

and South Pacific Pictures Managing Director Chris Bailey

The dramatic season finale of The
Blue Rose airs on Monday April 29 at 9.45pm on TV3.
The Blue Rose season one DVD box set
will be on sale nationwide from May 1.
