Radio One Aero-Guitar-Smith Comp

Thursday 18th April, OUSA Market Day, 1pm by the Library Lawn

Wriggle your digits, toss your hair and just generally rock out for the Radio One Aerosmith Air Guitar Competition this Thursday at the OUSA Market Day. If you manage to impress the judges with your tactile rendition of an Aerosmith anthem you could walk away with a double pass to the show on April 24th. Backing tracks provided. Get shredding.

Feature CD

The Flaming Lips - The Terror
The Flaming Lips return with album number 13, The Terror. Bold and expressive, this release is darker, more brooding and introspective than the band's previous efforts. Combining bleak gothic-funk with ambient synths and Wayne Coyne's fragile falsetto, the album explores the concept that if love is all you need; what happens when love runs out? Less eager-to-please than their previous work The Terror finds its own place in the Lip's capacious cannon with its challenging, relentless exploration of loneliness and depression.
