Program Dutch Royal Succession celebrations
The abdication of Queen Beatrix and the subsequent investiture of King Willem-Alexander will be celebrated all over New Zealand. On behalf of the Dutch societies and organizations, we hereby invite you to join these celebrations. Find out what is going on in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.
Auckland
Dutch Queen’s Party
Auckland will be first out of the gates of New-Zealand’s Royal Succession celebrations, hosting the KLM Dutch Queen’s Party on April 27th. With the support of the Netherlands Embassy and the backing of sponsors like KLM, the Auckland-based organization ‘Dutchie’ will organize the biggest ‘Koninginnenach’-party the city has ever seen. The party will kick off from 8.00 pm in the Blue Stone Room in Durham Lane, Auckland CBD.
Given the memorable character of this year’s event with the abdication of Queen Beatrix and the investiture of King Willem-Alexander, this party promises to be one to remember. ‘Dutchie’ is flying in two terrific DJ’s from the Netherlands. Firstly, DJ Pim will set the atmosphere for a mindblowping party with a Ski Hut set, followed by DJ MaxM who will show why Dutch DJ’s belong to the best in the world, playing a deep house dance set.
You can find more information about the KLM Dutch Queen’s Party on www.dutchie.co.nz. Like Dutchie on Facebook to keep track of the latest news: www.facebook.com/nzdutchie.
