Edgy mix in top six!
With just days to go…The Global Battle of the Bands (GBOB) (www.gbob.com) will head to The Kings Arms, Auckland
for the 2013 NZ National Final.
GBOB is the World’s biggest live talent comp for bands of all genres. The winner receives a prize worth $100,000.
Here’s a sneak peak of the six finalists who will compete in the NZ National Final on Sun 7th April. The winner will go straight through to the Australasian Final, held in Sydney!
The Top Six Finalists:
In Company is an alternative 4 piece Rock outfit with a deep and colourful sonic appeal.
Knights of the DUB Table has 8 members, who combine elements of Drum ‘n’ Bass and Electro into their own fusion of DUB flavoured music, to produce powerful, high-energy performances.
Day 3 is a 4 piece band that fits into the genre of Hard-Rock. The group has a unique sound and an amazing stage presence .
Sunscape is a 4 piece Indie/Pop band. Their influences are Mumford & Sons, city and colour
and they’re all about having fun!
The Whiskey Show is a 4 piece Hard-Rock band that plays hard hitting, high energy, dirty old Rock n Roll, for the discerning modern rock listener.
Them Dirty Saints is a 4 piece Rock/Metal band with hard hitting riffs and punchy rhythms, influenced by all forms of hard rock and heavy metal, both old and new.
It will be an awesome night with Music Industry Judges Shane Hales, Tom Sharplin &
Brendon Packard in attendance.
The Kings Arms will be rocking as the superb band line-up gives it their best!
