This March: celebrate Pasifika, experience Groupe F, immerse yourself at WOW, debate the big questions of science, and more.
SCIENCE CLUB LIVE LAUNCHES
From sex to extinction to the science of music – you’re invited to debate the big issues at our new six-week Science Club LIVE series.
Auckland Museum has created the series in partnership with BBC Knowledge to run alongside the new TV series Science Club which premieres on the Sky Network, channel 074, this weekend. Hosted by science lover and Radio Live presenter Graeme Hill, the one-hour Science Club LIVE sessions will run every Wednesday evening from 6pm with intelligent talk, wine and nibbles and the chance to debate the big science ideas raised in the latest episode of Science Club. Tickets are very limited so book now.

GROUPE F PRESENTS THE BREATH OF THE VOLCANO
The sky above Auckland Museum will come alive tonight with the first of three incredible pyrotechnic shows from Groupe F. Breath of the Volcano is premiering in Auckland and uses our own volcanic landscape as inspiration for the show. Groupe F has wowed audiences around the world – don’t miss your chance to see one of only three shows.

AUCKLAND MUSEUM AT PASIFIKA
Come and visit us this weekend at Auckland’s vibrant Pasifika Festival at Western Springs. At the Auckland Museum stand you can try out some Pacific crafts or follow our Adorning the Pacific taonga trail. See you there – this year the festival is running over Saturday and Sunday!

WHITE NIGHT
We’re part of the Auckland Arts Festival’s White Night celebrations next week. Join us after hours on Saturday and take your time wandering through our beautiful galleries or see WOW’s Off The Wall exhibition before it closes. There are family activities and special tours and after you’ve taken in everything the museum has to offer, step outside to enjoy special lighting of the Domain and the museum’s façade. And best of all, it’s all FREE!
