Wellingtonians to Show their Support by Signing Personal Messages on a Haier Pulse Suzuki Swift
With less than a month to go before the start of what promises to be an exciting and highly-charged 2013 ANZ Netball Championship, the Haier Pulse will be out and about all next week to celebrate the launch of the new season.
The team has already received a major boost, with the world’s No.1 brand of major appliances, Haier Appliances, extending its highly-successful partnership into a fourth year. “Haier is thrilled to support the team, and we are excited to see what they will bring to the championship this season,” said Troy Scragg, General Manager Haier New Zealand.
Brendan Foot Supersite and Suzuki have also teamed up with the players. As the official vehicle suppliers, they are helping to get the Haier Pulse around in five brand new Suzukis, one of which is a bright yellow Suzuki Swift. The car will be parked in various key locations around the capital during the week and the girls are asking the Wellington public to show their support and sign the bodywork with their personal messages of support.
Wellington’s Deputy Mayor, Ian McKinnon and players from other Wellington sporting codes will be joining the team on Tuesday morning at the Wellington Railway Station to write their own messages for the team.
There will also be an opportunity for the public to meet the 2013 squad (and grab those all-important autographs) at the home of the Haier Pulse, Te Rauparaha Arena in Porirua, on Friday between 4-5pm.
The Suzuki Swift can be signed in the following locations next week:
Tuesday, 5 March
8.15am-9am, Wellington Railway Station
Wednesday, 6 March
12.30pm-1.30pm, Midland Park (off Waring Taylor Street, Central Wellington)
Thursday, 7 March
12.30pm-1.30pm, Waterfront under the Sails (Queens Wharf, Central Wellington)
Friday, 8 March
12.30-1.30pm, Exodus Carpark (Tory Street, Central Wellington)
4pm-5pm, Te Rauparaha Arena, Porirua
The Haier Pulse play the Thunderbirds in Adelaide on 24 March in their opening game of the 2013 ANZ Championship.
