Emma Stone Next Oscars Host?
With mixed reviews of Seth MacFarlane’s job as host of the Oscars, attention has already turned with who will get the gig next year, with Emma Stone the early $9.00 favourite with online bookmaker sportsbet.com.au to get the call up.
After their performance hosting the Golden Globes, Tina Fey ($10) and Amy Poehler ($12) are right in contention along with Ellen DeGeneres ($10), Jimmy Fallon ($11) and Jimmy Kimmel ($11).
Australia’s own Hugh Jackman is also one of the favourites the host it again at $13, while perennial hosts Billy Crystal and Steve Martin could also be a chance at $15.
Rebel Wilson has also been given some hope at $17, while MacFarlene looks unlikely to do it again at $21.
“There is no shortage of talent to choose from, but the market suggests they will keep it young and Emma Stone is at the top of the list,” said sportsbet.com.au’s Shaun Anderson.
