Santana And the Steve Miller Band
Move to CBS Canterbury Arena
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Thu 14 Feb, 9am
Chugg Entertainment and Bolton Promotions would like to advise that Santana and The Steve Miller Band will now be playing at Christchurch’s CBS Canterbury Arena. The date of the show still stands as Sunday 17th March.
The subsequent announcement of a Super 14 match to be held at AMI Stadium the night before Santana is scheduled to play was not initially seen as an issue, but the resulting logistical problems have made it impossible to build the stage and prepare the stadium in time for the show that night. Hence the promoters and stadium representatives have decided the best way to proceed is to move to CBS Canterbury Arena.
Due to the new time constraints imposed by the move to an indoor venue, the Taj Mahal Trio are now unable to perform. However Taj Mahal’s scheduled Wellington and Auckland shows still stand.
New show info:
• Doors will now open at 5.30pm with the show starting at 7.00pm
• Tickets purchased for the AMI Stadium show remain valid and transferable – no exchanges are required.
• Any ticket refunds need to go back to point of purchase by Friday 8th March 5.00pm.
• Any queries please contact: online@ticketek.co.nz or call 0800 842 538
Santana and The Steve Miller Band are still looking forward to playing in the Garden City, and there is no doubt that as two of rock music’s all time greats these legendary performers will deliver Christchurch fans a truly memorable evening not to be missed!
