Masterchef Brett McGregor showcases Taste of Thailand at Alexandra Park

Alexandra Park in association with The Breeze and Random House to hold Park to Plate foodie event with Brett McGregor

Alexandra Park is partnering with Random House and The Breeze to bring a series of events to help promote New Zealand authors and their latest books. The series will revolve around a calendar of events which incorporates interiors, food, novels and other books that are released throughout the year.

Alexandra Park is launching the first event as Park to Plate featuring NZ Master Chef 2010 winner Brett McGregor. Brett will demonstrate three of his recipes from his book ‘Taste of a Traveller’ celebrating the taste of Thailand. Guests will then get to indulge in these dishes and others prepared by Brett and the team at Alexandra Park.

Guests will be treated to a glass of bubbles on arrival, tasting plate of entrees, tasty mains and delicious dessert to complete the evening. Brett will also be on hand to personally sign copies of his book ‘Taste of a Traveller.

Details of the event are as follows:

Date: Thursday 21st February
Time: 6:30-10pm
Location: Alexandra Park Function Centre, Epsom, Auckland.
Tickets: $70per person and can be purchased by emailing dining@alexpark.co.nz

Alexandra Park endeavours to hold these events on a regular basis beginning with an event once every two months for the Food Writers’ evenings then increase to once a month with the introduction of Lifestyle books and Fictional novels.
