Paper Plus thrilled with Agassi turnout
Over the last two days Andre Agassi has drawn large crowds to Paper Plus’ two lucky stores in Christchurch and Auckland, giving fans the chance to have their copy of his autobiography Open signed and get up close and personal to the tennis legend.
Over the two days, 1100 excited fans lined up to get their books signed at Paper Plus Eastgate on Wednesday and Paper Plus Newmarket toady.
448 copies of Open were also sold.
The hype was contagious and it was impossible to ignore it with the queues winding through the mall and the streets of Newmarket.
Andre Agassi will be heading to the Langham Hotel at 6pm to attend a gala dinner banquet sponsored by the Mad Butcher and in association with Paper Plus.
The evening event will include a three course dinner accompanied with matching fine wines, remarks by Agassi, a moderated and live audience interactive question and answer session and live music.
