Riddiford Street: Medical Comedy Drama Thingy....
One of Wellington's newest Troupes, PlayShop, brings you Medical Soap Opera at its best..and most raw. A cast of 16 will rotate through the 5 night season to unfurl tales of romance, betrayal, friendships...and health care.
Each night is a new episode building on the last. The audience gets the power to chose the major event of each show creating unknowns within the storylines. With characters, context and set evolving through out the season...why not come more than once?
This show is recommended for audiences 14 plus. Some adult content of course. Oh and this show is for fun people. Don't come if you are boring.
Director Daniel Pengelly is a current Masters in Directing student and is exploring the work of Mike Leigh in this piece of theatre. The cast and crew are all current or graduated students of Toi Whakaari or Vic Theatre department. So they are bringing it! Consider it brought.
