Aaradhna to Perform Live at Real Groovy Auckland – Wednesday 19 December
Off the back of the release of her criticallyacclaimed album Treble & Reverb, and her #1 hit ‘Wake Up’, Soul Songstress AARADHNA will be performing LIVE this coming Wednesday 19 December, 1PM at Real Groovy, Auckland.
At this special, live acoustic performance, AARADHNA will be performing tracks from her new album, plus a few well loved others, to all those who visit the store. There will also be a chance for fans to meet AARADHNA and get albums signed.
Dripping with soul and sass, Treble & Reverb is AARADHNA’s most definitive album yet. Channeling influences including Amy Winehouse, Ruth Brown, Otis Redding, and Sam Cooke, AARADHNA’s called on some of Vintage Soul’s greats - and judging by her knack for writing hypnotizing harmonies - they seemed to have answered.
AARADHNA has gone from strength to strength this year, starting with the breakthrough success of the lead single ‘Wake Up’ which topped the NZ singles charts and has sparked interest from record labels all over the world. The Treble & Reverb album has received universal praise, garnering 5 star reviews from the likes of Sunday Star Times and iTunes, while the video for follow up single ‘Lorena Bobbitt’ has already had well over 30,000 views on youtube in it’s first week alone.
