New Exhibition To Set Imaginations Alight At MOTAT
MOTAT’s newest travelling exhibition ‘Imagination Factory - Invent and Play’ is set to delight, giving visitors the opportunity to explore the magic of pistons, wheels, levers, pulleys, cams and gears through dozens of hands-on interactive displays.
‘Imagination Factory’ will be open to the public at MOTAT from Sunday 9 December and comes from Australia’s world renowned National Science and Technology Centre ‘Questacon’. The Centre has been developing, fabricating and touring award winning exhibitions for the Australian and world markets for more than twenty years.
MOTAT Marketing Manager, Deanna Wharton, says ‘Imagination Factory’ will be an entertaining and interactive exhibition where visitors of all ages will learn about the world of mechanics.
“‘Imagination Factory’ is a must-see exhibition that gives visitors the chance to unravel the secrets of mechanics in an interesting way. With more than 25 interactive displays and fun activities, it will capture the minds and fuel the imaginations of MOTAT visitors young and old,” says Mrs Wharton.
“This marvellous exhibition will see visitors having a fantastic time as they build and race toy animals with gears, use giant levers to lift their friends and family off the ground, and build their own wall maze with magnetic tubing.”
With a special preview opening for MOTAT Mates Annual Pass Holders on Saturday 8 December, visitors will love exploring basic mechanical tools and uncovering how they can be used to create ingenious inventions.
Only at MOTAT for a limited time, make sure you don’t miss out on this mind-boggling mechanics experience.
