'GLASS HOLE PIT' a visual sound-based sensory overload
Friday November 30th 2012 at 7pm- $5
Featuring:
Samin Son
“If a shooting star could travel upwards that would be Samin Son. Wellington has always been a cautious town, tending more towards the reserved than the outlandish. So perhaps there were no defence mechanisms in place for restraining someone of such concentrated intensity. The Korean-born Wellington-based artist has been making a name for himself in 2012 with a series of performances and exhibitions, and a ubiquitous online presence.” – Ron Hanson (http://www.thebigidea.co.nz/news/interviews/2012/jun/118176-catch-a-shooting-star )
Koi
James Crane is one of Wellington’s most prolific and consistently interesting musicians, artists and filmmakers, creating soundscapes of ‘thrilling fucked up shit’, performances are rare so this is not something to miss out on.

…for the weight of blood
Wellington musicians Timothy J. Andrew, Rupert Hunter, and Rachel McGonigal create violent, sexy noise and often self-destructive spectacles.
