Air New Zealand Hobbit-inspired 777-300 aircraft makes first appearance in
Los Angeles and London
Arrives London 2300 (NZ time) tonight Sunday 25 November
Air New Zealand’s Hobbit-inspired 777-300 has been a huge draw card on its first journey to London via Los Angeles this weekend. The aircraft, operating as NZ2, was a spectacular site landing at Los Angeles International Airport this morning (NZ time) and is currently en route to make its first appearance at London’s Heathrow Airport at 2300 hours tonight (NZ time).

Cast members from The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey will be joining the flight in London as the aircraft travels back to Auckland via Los Angeles, delivering them to New Zealand in time for their red carpet appearance at the movie’s global premier in Wellington on Wednesday 28 November.
