To an onlooker, Tai Chi appears as serene and elegantly flowing movement of body and limbs. To the practitioner it is
experienced as mind-quietening breathing and balancing exercises. With or without belief in the ancient Chinese medical
assumptions that underlie it, everyone who practices Tai Chi (even for just a few minutes a day) finds health benefits.
