Grand Final of New Zealand's Got Talent

Dudley Fairbrass and Logan Walker through to Grand Final of New Zealand's Got Talent.

Embargoed until 9.35pm, Sunday 25th November 2012

Dudley Fairbrass and Logan Walker have been named as the sixth and last semi-finalists to go through to tonight’s Grand Final of TV ONE’s New Zealand's Got Talent.

Canterbury university student Fairbrass was the most popular act with the voting public after performing the indie folk song, ‘Falling Slowly’ in last week’s semi-final episode.

The judges’ favourite, 18-year-old Walker sang and danced his way to the Grand Final with the original composition, ‘Where’s The Love?’

Tonight, the pair were part of the two-hour, New Zealand’s Got Talent Grand Final, which saw the Top 12 NZGT acts perform for a final time in front of judges Jason Kerrison, Rachel Hunter and Ali Campbell.

Tawaroa Kawana channelled some serious soul, singing Percy Sledge's ‘When A Man Loves A Woman’; Olivia Turner turned back time with the Vera Lynn classic, ‘We’ll Meet Again’; ‘Big’ Dane Moeke hit the high notes in a Whitney Houston-inspired version of ‘I Will Always Love You’; Fletcher Oxford made a final plea to his missing cat Sushi with the original composition, ‘Forever’; jugglers Zane and Degge scaled the heights with a daring new routine; the audience rose from their seats for Mihirangi’s looping set; J Geeks set new energy levels with a mix of dark comedy and Maori culture; from the Kill Bill soundtrack, Evan Sinton delivered a unique take on Nancy Sinatra’s ‘Bang Bang’; tiny diva Jessie Hillel’s voice belied her size with a larger-than-life performance of ‘Ave Maria’; Clara Van Wel’s original song asked, ‘Where Do You Find Love?’; Justin Bieber fans were treated to Logan Walker’s take on ‘Mistletoe’; and Dudley Fairbrass boldly tackled a song by one of the world’s biggest bands when he performed Coldplay’s ‘The Scientist’
The public now has until midday, Tuesday 27th November to text vote for their favourite act from tonight’s Grand Final.

The winner of New Zealand’s Got Talent, determined solely by public votes will be announced on Sunday 2nd December, at 7.30 pm on TV ONE.
