Q+A this Sunday

Sunday 25 November, 2012
On Q+A this Sunday, we do our last regular studio programme of the year, featuring the country’s two main political bosses – Prime Minister John Key and Opposition Leader David Shearer.
David Shearer has stared down questions around his leadership this past week, but questions remain over the unity of his party and caucus. Is he just papering over the cracks or has he stamped his authority on the party? And his plan for 100,000 new houses – where will they be, who will build them and what about those who can’t afford a deposit?
And for our final interview of the year we speak with the Prime Minister. Back from overseas, he ends the year with uncomfortably high unemployment and questions over whether he’s been able to rebalance the economy as promised. What has the year cost him politically, with issues from Dotcom to class sizes causing controversy? We’ll discuss his highs and lows.
Joining Dr Raymond Miller from Auckland University on the panel are Council of Trade Unions President Helen Kelly and New Zealand Herald columnist Fran O’Sullivan.
Q+A, 9-10am Sundays on TV ONE and one hour later on TV ONE plus 1.
Thanks to the support from NZ ON Air.
