and Wonderful gallery has finished its make-over and is
re-opening next Saturday 1 December.
All your
favourites are back plus exciting new interactives to help
you discover the natural world. Examine a fossil, get up
close to intriguing creatures, befriend glowing pathfinder
bugs and more!

tonight at the museum, bestselling author Dava Sobel has had
a behind the scenes tour with our Botany Curator Ewen
Cameron where she was able to see the actual specimens
collected over 200 years ago in ‘Plants from Captain
Cook’s First Voyage’. Her love of science and discovery
was apparent – join her tonight to hear about the
bestselling books she has written about some of the greatest
scientific discoveries in the world including her latest
novel A More Perfect Heaven
