New Zealand’s biggest wine event begins in eleven weeks.
Tickets are being snapped up for Pinot Noir NZ 2013 which happens from 28th to 31st January on Wellington’s waterfront.
Pinot Noir addicts from all over the globe will pour into the capital to slurp, sip and swallow our finest Pinots and
sample New Zealand’s best produce.
A key highlight will be the public tasting where all Pinot wineries will showcase their wines to an expectant crowd of
Pinot enthusiasts.
Invited delegates will come from all around the world including Judy Sarris, Editor of Australian Gourmet Traveller Wine
magazine, Ben Edwards, President of Sommeliers Australia, Jeanne Cho Lee from Decanter Magazine Hong Kong, Oz Clarke,
writer/broadcaster in the UK, David Lawrason, Wine Writer from Toronto Life in Canada, Chantal Martineau, Huffington
Post and Saveur on line in the USA and Felicity Carter from Drinks Business International in Germany.
Sales are well ahead of the same time during the lead up to the last event in 2010 and accommodation in Wellington is
filling up quickly. Everything is looking positive for the biggest event on the New Zealand wine calendar. As the
international interest proves Pinot Noir NZ 2013 is a showcase for New Zealand in general, beyond the wines presented.

The Wellington waterfront will be taken over by one event for the first time in its history. It will be a Pinot Precinct
and it highlights the importance of Pinot Noir NZ 2013 as a showcase of New Zealand wine, one of our greatest exports.
