SUBWAY® Pro Cycling’s Paul Odlin plans to do justice to the national time trial champion skin suit he gets to wear in tomorrow morning’s 13 kilometre individual time trial at the Powernet Tour of Southland.
Odlin won the title in January, beating his teammate Sam Horgan by 21 seconds. The SUBWAY® Pro Cycling team mates were the only two senior elite riders to go under 50 minutes with both riders beating World Tour Pro rider and pre race favourite Jesse Sergent.
Odlin said the win was his best in New Zealand but he was extremely motivated to get a result tomorrow, for both himself and his SUBWAY® Pro Cycling team.
“I’m feeling good and really want a result tomorrow,” Odlin said. “I need it to come away from the tour satisfied and it would be great for the team.”
Odlin said he planned to do absolutely everything possible to prepare including recovering well from today and getting a good warm up in the morning.
