Cityfitness Provides Scholarship And Sponsorship to 2013 Kapiti Womens Triathlon

cityfitness are pleased to announce their support of The Kapiti Women’s Triathlon (KWT) taking place on 24 February 2013 through the provision of a Scholarship programme. The KWT Trust believes this initiative aims to further give back to the community by offering two event applicants an all-expense paid build up towards taking part in the 24 February 2013 event.
cityfitness Managing Director Dominic Rogerson says ‘we’re pleased to be involved with the Kapiti Women’s Triathlon. This will be our 5th year of involvement with the event and we hope that by providing a scholarship by way of a gym membership and Personal Training, we’re helping to change someone’s life for the better.’
This is the third year KWT have run the scholarship programme. Event Organiser, Evelyn Williamson says ‘We are looking for applicants that are committed to making some life changes, may have some life/health challenges but are motivated to make the starting line. There is no pre-requisite to having done this event or any other previously. First time participants are welcome to apply’.
The Scholarship Entails:
• Full cityfitness gym membership from 23rd
Oct 2012 to event day (24 February 2013)

• One
30 min session per week with your own cityfitness personal
trainer
•
• Structured, personally designed &
monitored training programme
•
• (Up to 3 paid
adult group swimming sessions per week at Raumati Pool with
tutor Val (or another agreed upon group swim session at
alternate venue)
•
• Free entry to the
KWT
•

Applications for the KWT Scholarship are open until 5pm Sunday 30th September and accepted via email (enquiry@kwt.org.nz) or by mail; 30 Marram Way, RD1, Waikanae. Applicants will then be shortlisted and interviewed and beginning structured training by Monday 22nd October. The decision of the Events NZ trust is final.
