$1 Tickets Launched for “Life-Changing” Festival for the Future
From 2pm on the 3rd of September, ten Kiwis will get the chance to snap up “outrageous early bird” $1 tickets for Festival for the Future at Te Papa, Wellington from 16-18th November.
The second-time national event aims to bring together up to 300 young New Zealanders – to reframe 21st century issues as opportunities, develop new projects and enterprises to advance New Zealand.
The weekend programme features presentations from world-changing New Zealanders young and old, workshops, seminars and project development sessions.
Festival Director Guy Ryan says: “The line up is really exciting, and it’s great to be able to give ten lucky people an opportunity to experience it for a dollar. Last year was a life-changing experience for some people.”
This year keynote speakers include 2012 Senior New Zealander of the Year Malcolm Cameron of Dunedin.
Camerson says “Last years event was really good. I’m passionate about giving young people as many opportunities as it takes to reach their dreams – the Festival is a part of that process, and I’m delighted to be involved again this year.”
