The Academy of Fine Arts in Wellington presents Kete
A three day craft and design fair & symposium, bringing together galleries and practitioners, exhibiting objects and in jewellery, ceramics, textiles and
furniture.

Kete celebrates the objects that fill your home and are part of your daily wear, revealing the current state of craft
and design practice in Aotearoa New Zealand, featuring artists and object makers from 14 participating galleries and
design schools – floor-talks and discussion from leading designers, curators and writers.

Anna Miles Gallery, Bowen Galleries, David Trubridge, Designtree, Dilana Rugs, F3 Design, Textile Design Massey School

Key note guest speakers are:
• Curator and academic Kevin Murray, online editor for the Journal of Modern Craft and former Executive Director
at Craft Victoria.
• Internationally renowned designer, artist and lecturer, David Trubridge. In 2008 French magazine Express listed
him as one of the top 15 designers in the world.
