Have a real adventure these school holidays
Spaces left on the OPC Holiday Programme – but get in quick
No need to be a couch potato these school hols, OPC has just the ticket to get that spring in your step and have a fantastic adventure.
Caving, surf kayaking, abseiling, rock climbing, sailing – these are the kinds of missions you could be going on at the Sir Edmund Hillary Outdoor Pursuits Centre of New Zealand (OPC) these holidays.
OPC offers a five-day live-in school holiday programme at its bases at Tongariro and Great Barrier Island. It’s for 14 to 18 year olds, and no previous outdoor experience is needed – just a willingness to give it a go and have some fun.
Bring your friends or make some new ones, while you explore rivers, lakes, mountains, the bush and the sea.
There are still spaces for the second week of the school holiday, 8 – 12 October, at both the Tongariro and Great Barrier Island centres, but get in quick. It costs $570 per person, and that includes all your instruction, food, accommodation and equipment. See http://www.opc.org.nz/holiday-programmes/ or call 0800 OUT THERE.
