New Player ‘Quit The City’ Release Fierce Full Local Line Up For Nye
On Monday the newest NYE Music Festival to hit New Zealand kicked off a five day countdown. Each day this week they have dropped some of the hottest acts in NZ, and today ‘Quit the City’ presented by Skinny Mobile released their full billed stellar line up guaranteed to make you get your party on this New Years for only $45!
The fierce local line up includes Chali 2na (Jurassic 5), David Dallas and The Daylight Robbery, The Black Seeds, Kidz in Space, 1814, Tahuna Breaks, DJ Sir-Vere, dDub, PNC, K.One, Savage, J Williams, DJ CXL, Pieter T, Illegal Banditz, DJ Lenimum, Tyson Tyler & DJ Reminise.
After years of seeing a gap in the market the Quit the City event promoter thought that there was no better year than 2012 to create an affordable high quality New Years experience only 45 minutes out of Auckland. Quit the City brings New Zealand’s killer talent to Auckland’s doorstep. The event will feature over 18 acts and 12 hours of live pumping music.
"I'm super-excited to play at ‘Quit The City’ for New Years. For the past eight years I've been playing Australia over the new years period, and finally I get to play in New Zealand again, and at an event like this! Not only is the line up exceptional, but it's also a family reunion of sorts - many of the artists playing are friends that rarely get to play at the same festival- it's going to be good times. This is gonna be huge!” says DJ Sir-Vere.
The event will feature two stages, an exclusive R22 VIP zone, interactive zones, food options, bars, free parking, free camping and buses from Auckland and Manukau.
Quit the City ‘Skinny early bird’ tickets are now on sale for only $45+bf for a limited time only from quitthecity.co.nz. Check out the QTC facebook page (www.facebook.com/quitthecitynye) for the latest news and highlights.
