Head & Shoulders Announce Ambassador to the Stars
Acclaimed ballet dancer Abigail Boyle has today been announced as the Head & Shoulders ambassador for the highly anticipated New Zealand's Got Talent show.
As the new Ambassador for Head & Shoulders - the World's #1 Anti-Dandruff Shampoo* and a sponsor of New Zealand's Got Talent, Boyle is well placed to inspire and excite Kiwis nationwide to showcase their diversity and let their talent shine.
A member of the Royal New Zealand Ballet since 2005, Boyle has received critical acclaim for her dancing and most recently performed leading roles in the Royal New Zealand Ballet season of NYC - Three Short Ballets from The Big Apple.
As the new Ambassador for Head & Shoulders, Boyle says she is eager to witness the many and varied talents of her fellow Kiwis taking part in New Zealand's Got Talent.
"I am thrilled to front the campaign for the Head & Shoulders sponsorship of New Zealand's Got Talent and can't wait to witness the many and varied talents of my fellow Kiwis," she says.
Boyle will also attend and perform at the New Zealand's Got Talent national wildcard competition - an initiative to give those who missed their chance at the initial auditions a second chance to make it to the final, in the hope of being named the ultimate winner of New Zealand's Got Talent.
"As a professional dancer I know how much it takes to get to the top of your game, so I'm excited at being given the chance to watch some of the talented Kiwis taking part in the auditions," says Boyle.
With wildcard competitions scheduled for Auckland and Christchurch, Kiwis will compete for votes from the New Zealand public to win the chance to impress the New Zealand's Got Talent judges and make it through to the hotly contested top 12.
P&G spokesperson, Lisa Cunningham, says Head & Shoulders are thrilled to name Boyle as their new ambassador and look forward to her involvement with the brand's sponsorship of New Zealand's Got Talent.
"We are hugely excited to have Abigail on board with us as Head & Shoulders Ambassador. Abigail is a huge star in her own right and is the perfect person to embrace, celebrate and get excited about other talented Kiwis."
"We believe Head & Shoulders is an ideal sponsor for New Zealand's Got Talent; the brand really gives people the confidence to perform at their best, whatever their talent may be," says Cunningham.
New Zealand's Got Talent is New Zealand's biggest talent show and searches for talented Kiwis from all walks of life - solo acts, group performances, singers, dancers, magicians, circus and stunt acts, instrumentalists, comedians, novelty acts, animal acts, child performers and more. Whether amateur or professional, the doors are open to any one of any age to enter the competition.
The national wildcard competition will take place on the following dates:
Saturday September 15: From 10am (registration
at 9am) Sylvia Park Shopping Centre, Auckland
Sunday
September 23: From 10am (registration at 9am) Northlands
