One of our own, Orcona Chilli’s n Peppers is featured on this weeks’ episode of Café Secrets, screening this Sunday, August 19th at 5pm on TV 3.
In the 4th episode screening this Sunday, Orcona’s Products are being used by the lovely Julie Le Clerc when she visits owners Anne Prescott and Kevin Baker at the home of Orcona Chillis in Pakowhai Road, Hastings, and gathers some fresh produce to cook at The Kitchen Table Cafe.
Julie Le Clerc, cookbook author, chef and local produce advocate says "I appreciate Orcona chillis, peppers and chilli-based products because of their natural great taste; full flavours; and additive free, 100% pure production values. I enjoyed using the variety of Orcona products to add that extra special kick of pure flavour to many different dishes. I was particularly thrilled to be able to visit Anne and Kevin at Orcona to see first-hand their incredible range of chillis and peppers growing so naturally."
Award winning Orcona Chilli’s are an iconic business in Hawke’s Bay producing some of the finest chilli products for commercial and domestic use. Products are available at the Hawke’s Bay Farmers’ Market every Sunday and can quite often be found at National trade and food related shows around the country.
