"It's been a hard road, as a self published and managed artist based in New Zealand. I am very thankful for the welcoming support of the Australian Community Radio stations and the few Country format stations we have here, who support my work in New Zealand and mostly to my fans and friends who have funded and supported my work"
"I am very thankful to the Kiwi Pro-Am Country Organisation for their tireless work at running a fantastic awards show at the National Country Music Award and lifting up the Country Music Recording Artists from New Zealand. There are many great artists releasing independent albums and having success in other regions of the world. Due to a number of reasons, often the New Zealand public don't get to hear about those success stories. It is nice that the National Country Music Awards are recognising those achievements ".
