Paper Plus calls all schools to fundraise for Red Nose Day
Paper Plus is calling for school children across the country to head into their local Paper Plus or Take Note store to take part in the nationwide fundraising efforts for the Red Nose Day for Cure Kids.
All children are invited to visit their local Paper Plus where, for gold coin donations, they can get Red Nose Day goodies including those famous red noses as well as car noses, wristbands and exclusive 3D bookmarks. One hundred percent of money raised from donations will go directly to Cure Kids.
Approximately one child in every 30 in New Zealand - roughly one in every classroom - lives with a life-threatening illness or genetic malformation, and Cure Kids is dedicated to funding child health medical research.
School pupils should ensure their school is registered at schools@curekids.org.nz as Paper Plus is offering an unforgettable trip to Europe. All schools registered with Red Nose Day to Cure Kids go into the draw and the winner will be announced live on TV3’s Red Nose Day: Comedy for Cure Kids on 24th August.
Paper Plus’ Group Marketing Manager, Lyle Hastings says he is thrilled that Paper Plus is once again be an integral part of the Red Nose Day, but says that they need the support of every student, nationwide, to make a true difference to the lives of the children affected by illnesses.
“We whole-heartedly encourage kids across the country to get behind this cause and register their school at their local Paper Plus or Take Note store. The challenge has been set, so get creative and start fundraising! You can do anything from putting on a mufti day, to a school sausage sizzle, it’s completely up to the children,” says Lyle.
All Paper Plus and Take Note stores are getting behind the campaign, with staff ready to help local schools in communities throughout New Zealand.
For more information, or to register your school for Red Nose Day to Cure Kids, please email schools@curekids.org.nz or go to www.curekids.org.nz, and make sure you tune in to TV3 at 7.30pm for the Red Nose Day: Comedy for Cure Kids comedy marathon on 24th August!
