The Moveable Feast ~ 1920s Dinner Show @ Cassette Nine
The Moveable Feast is a very special 1920s dinner-show celebrating Auckland Restaurant Month, to be held at the city’s renowned music/bar & restaurant, Cassette Nine, on Saturday 4th August 2012.
For one night only, enter the world of 1920s prohibition Auckland, where Cassette is your secret den of iniquity, a speakeasy of padded booths and forbidden pleasures, where silent films flicker in the background, live music fills the wall cavities and teapots pour anything but tea.
Take a seat at a Moveable Feast table and let your senses overload as you enjoy the likes of Miss Leda Petit, New Zealand’s leading burlesque performer, putting the cherry on your dessert experience.
This very special event offers a limited number of guests the opportunity to indulge in a three-course dinner, showcasing the best of Cassette’s cuisine, including gourmet platters of rustic food and devilish desserts, with entertainment to complement each course.
Guests are asked to dress in a manner befitting the 1920s era, when denim was reserved for criminals and trainers hindered your Charleston.
Doors 6.30pm. Tickets $75, available only at eventfinder.co.nz http://www.eventfinder.co.nz/2012/the-moveable-feast/auckland. Ticket price includes 3-course dinner and entertainment. Plus access to the VIP Burlesque Back Bar after the event. (Vegetarian options available. Drinks not included in ticket price).
