As we head into the middle of winter, what better way to beat those blues than with an uplifting show at the Opera House?
With a Men in Tutus special (July only), a popular new show due to go on sale and Roger Hall's A Shortcut to Happiness performing at the end of the month - July is shaping up to be not so bad after all.

Perennial favourites Geraldine Brophy and Jane Keller will be at the Opera House for one night only in October with Floral Notes - a blooming micro musical.

LES BALLETS ELOELLE returns to New Zealand with the most spectacular, talented and hilarious all-male comedy ballet ever. This month only - you can purchase tickets to the 20th August performance at the Opera House for only $60* (*service fee applies).

A Shortcut to Happiness - Two Nights Only
Roger Hall's joyous new comedy will be at the Opera House on 27th and 28th July. There are still a few seats available for both performances but you will have to be quick to not miss out.

String Wizardry - Celtic Magic
Helen Webby, principal harpist at the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra, and Davy Stuart, one of NZ's top Celtic musicians, add vocals for the first time to their mix of Scottish and Irish traditional music. Performing for one night only at the Opera House on 15th August.

Hawke's Bay Youth Theatre tackles the rollicking challenge of Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew. There will be two shows only - 1pm & 7.30pm - on 9th August.
