Hit Comedy Motoring On At The Court
Due to overwhelming demand, smash New Zealand comedy THE MOTOR CAMP has had additional performances added at The Court Theatre.
Dave Armstrong's play about mismatched neighbours at a caravan park has been a runaway hit, with 14,500 tickets sold in a month.
Artistic Director of The Court Theatre Ross Gumbley is delighted with the response to the "100% pure Kiwi Comedy".
"It's a testament to Armstrong's script, the performances by the cast and the hard work by the whole team behind this show that THE MOTOR CAMP has been such a success," Gumbley says. "Audiences relish this warts-and-all portrayal of everyday New Zealanders."
Feedback on the show has been overwhelmingly positive, with patrons calling THE MOTOR CAMP "a great laugh", "a real must-see" and "the most politically incorrect show I've seen in a long time: 5 stars!"
THE MOTOR CAMP must close on 11 August. Tickets for the final performances are now on sale at The Court Theatre Box Office.
