6th July 2012: Netball New Zealand is pleased to host the New Zealand U17 Age Group Championships next week in Christchurch from July 9th- 12th. We are excited to once again be at the iconic Netball courts of Hagley Park.

The New Zealand U17 Age Group Championships includes 28 teams, 336 players and 70 officials and is by far our largest and liveliest event.

An integral part of the Netball New Zealand development pathway, the U17 AG event provides opportunities for players to challenge themselves and showcase their netball talent to their peers, opposition and the Emerging Talent Selectors.

Representing their Region and Centres is a source of great pride for players and management, and we acknowledge the developmental work, practical support and nurturing provided by their Netball Regions and Centres.
